Prominent Systems, Inc. makes several different grades of impregnated activated
carbon for those special applications where either standard non-treated
carbon does not work or where activated carbon's adsorptive capacity can be
greatly enhanced through impregnation.
KI/Potassium Iodide Impregnated Coal Based Activated Carbon
It is effective for the desulphurization of gases and the removal of acidic
contaminants such as hydrogen sulfide, hydrogen chloride, and mercaptans.
The percentage of potassium iodine can be varied upon request.
